The traditional method of computer monitor placement in the educational environment is on top of the work surface. This limits a classroom to only technology-driven functions. With Nova, valuable desk space is free of computer components, maximizing the desktop area and allowing the classroom to become a flexible multi-use facility. Existing classrooms automatically become multi-purpose learning environments for lectures, desktop work and computer classes. |
Nova technology can now be affordably integrated into any eEnvironment. A multimedia desk provides teachers and lecturers with plenty of space on the work surface for notes and papers. The computer, monitor, overhead projector and other equipment are contained below the work surface, enabling direct eye contact between student and instructor perfect for all types of classroom situations, training rooms, and distance learning facilities. Hinged doors on the approach side provide convient access to the rear of the CPU, allowing for quick equipment changes and wiring.
Nova’s Electronic Classroom™ creates a positive, personal learning environment. The recessed-monitor system of the Electronic Classroom provides an unobstructed view between students and their instructors, facilitating the learning process. Valuable computer hardware is also more secure. Students can’t play with wires and inadvertently disconnect or damage equipment. A large CPU compartment is available (with optional lock) on one side with ample book storage compartment on the other side. Configurations are available in straight and arced layouts to conform to any room layout. The Electronic Classroom™ line is designed for junior high school thought adult students.
